Seats, limits, cancelling and the trial.
How do seats work?
Each plan includes a number of users: 3 on Starter, 10 on Professional, 25 on Business. On Professional and Business you can add more for $19 and $15 per user per month. Business also gets unlimited read-only viewers, so your CPA, your surety contact or a bank officer can log in without taking a seat. Deactivated users free their seat immediately.
What counts as an active project?
Awarded and pipeline projects that have not been closed. When a job is done you close it; it stays in history and in the WIP schedule's earlier snapshots, but it no longer counts toward the limit. If you hit the limit the app tells you which plan you need; nothing is deleted.
What happens if we go over a limit?
Creating the project or inviting the user is blocked with a message that says what the limit is and how to raise it. Existing data is never locked. There are no surprise overage charges; you choose when to upgrade.
Can we switch plans or cancel?
Yes, from Settings, by whoever owns the account. Upgrades take effect right away and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Cancel any time: on monthly plans you keep access to the end of the period you paid for, and on annual plans you can ask for a full refund within the first 30 days.
What does the trial include?
Everything on Professional for 14 days, no credit card. If you need a bit longer to get a real month of data in, ask. When the trial ends the account goes read-only; pick a plan and it picks up where it left off.
Are there setup or implementation fees?
No. Importing your projects from Excel and pasting in cost history takes an afternoon, and Professional and Business include onboarding sessions. If you want us to load your history for you, that is a one-time $500 service. A custom WIP template for a specific surety or CPA is $250.
Why not price on revenue like everyone else?
Because a good year should not raise your software bill. A forty-person electrical sub and a forty-person mechanical sub do the same amount of work in this app regardless of how big their contracts are. Projects and users are what drive our cost, so that is what you pay for.
